Have been surfing friendsfriends responses to the Grammys and have seen JC's straighted hair likened to both Remy/Gambit from X-Men and season 1 Michael from La Femme Nikita. hee. Both of those images just crack me up. ::imagines JC in mission!pants::

Did they have a rule that only people who perform are allowed to win? Kinda seemed that way for the first hour or so.

Bee Gees tribute; Could Lance get more hot? He was so hot that even [livejournal.com profile] alasen who used to have issues with his teeth(don't ask) agreed that he was of the hotness. I thought Chris looked kinda mean which made me sad :( and kinda gravelly. Need to look for an mp3 of their previous version of the medley

Quite liked the Clash tribute and had fun mocking most of the rest of the show. Was reading and IM'ing alasen at the same time so was kept busy. They had a tiny bit of some of the red carpet stuff on the US Today show after the Grammys so I was glad I kept the tv on.

Had more Grammy stuff to say but stupid, stupid customers are sucking my will to live! Go Away! ::makes shooing motion:: Only people with at least half a brain should be able to call me.

Okay, not really seeing it, but I loved the hair and the idea of JC all butch in black cammies works in a seriously weird way for me *rofl*

Um, not really, no - and he looked so happy and relaxed as well. Hmmmm... and you could hear his lovely rumbly voice. *smiles happily* And didn't the cameraman and producer just love him? I swear he got more close ups than anyone else. I think they got sucked in by the hotness as well!

He didn't smile at all, which kind of made me sad but maybe [and this could account for the gravelly sound to his voice] he was truly taking it seriously and understood the ramifications of the fact that Maurice died. He's only a couple of months older than me and the Bee Gees were definitely a part of my musical experience while I was growing up. Then again, that could just be me projecting and wanting a reason for him not sounding as good as he normally does.

like in 'Guerillas'! Or 'Hackery' for that matter...mmmm.

I hadn't thought of it that way actually, but that makes a lot of sense. But a part of me was all 'Chris! Smile, damn you!'. But Lance made up for it totally. And I didn't even mind the beatboxing.

The consensus on Chris not smiling was either:

1. He lost a bet and is still pissed off about the clothes they made him wear as a result, or

2. He was completely stoned when he let JC get him dressed for the pre-Grammy party that when he sobered up and saw what he was wearing four hours later he was pissed! *g*
