the last jedi!

I had a good time! i really liked, it was LONG but also i enjoyed!

you guys, i love giant murder man-babies and kylo ren is a giant murdery man baby and i loved it?

i don't want to be a reylo but i was into the hand touching it was grate
also overtime he throws a fit i just feel love it so much

When the bridge was destroyed and leia was blown out into space i leant to alasen and loudly said
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST SEE WITH MY EYES?

and then! when she saved herself! that was awesome!

men are clearly too emotional for command i am looking at you poe dameron mutineer.
like, not obeying orders and arguing with your boss is not respecting the chain of command, the resistance needs a HR but also, leia slapped him before demoting him, unsafe workplace!
Laura Dern was good, but i thought 'godspeed' was a weird wording

there was some slapping in first order as well, like, both the first order and the resistance are pretty bad at their jobs but that makes a fun war in the stars

I was super pleased with myself for noticing that luke wasn't making red with his feet and figured out he wasn't really there

binary sunset luke farewell :(((( but he went into the force so hopefully we get force ghost luke?
i liked yoda burning down the tree, that was good

I was really interested in what they seemed to be implying about balance in the force but then in the end luke was like, no more jedi no wait rey is a jedi i guess after 3 lessons??

lots of cute animals? i guess?

I liked rose, but felt her kiss with finn at the end was a bit where did that come from. someone should give her the sandra bullock speed speech about relationships formed under pressure.

overall, better written than force awakens? pacing was good but it is long!

a long day with going to racecourse for a work thing and then home and then the movies but a good day!

"leant to alasen" you never bothered leaning for any of your loud comments, particularly that one, drunky :P

I wish I enjoyed it as much as you did. I just can’t seem to fully get on board with either Force Awakens or this. Lots of good bits but like most of the characters pissed me off, except Rose and Leia (and please have them walk back so that Rose wasn’t being romantic in kissing Finn).

I’ve seen a couple of comments from people who enjoyed it more the second time but wow that was a long movie.

There were definitely kids getting restless in the session I saw, though the kid next to me cracked me up with the first scene between Luke and Rey - “that was anticlimactic”.

I want to love these movies, but even while I like parts, they overall make me sad. I am compartmentalising them as someone’s very angsty fanfic that they somehow got a huge budget to make.

I did see a quote from Mark Hamill that he told the director that he completely disagreed with Luke’s characterisation and arc but would do it as well as possible. I love you Mark, cause SAME.

Also, am pretty sure Poe Dameron is possibly droidsexual as BB8 was only one he was concerned about. I liked that they remembered he and Rey hadn’t actually met.

Godspeed was SO DISTRACTING.

First you like Mon-El on Supergirl and now you’re shipping Reylo. Maybe you’re the pod person! (I enjoyed the porgs though, so feel free to judge in return)
