In my plan, we are belt-less

I had a plan for this morning. It went something like, sleep-in, get a haircut, maybe see a movie. Instead I woke up 2 hours earlier than I had allowed for, did 2 loads of laundry, all of my washing up, cleaned my benchtops, vacuumed, cleaned out the fridge and the freezer(oldest expiry date found on a milk carton in fridge: 15th May) and took out the garbage.

And it's hours and hours till my SG1 and SGA finish dl'ing :(

I read "The Hallowed Hunt" the third Chalion book by Lois McMaster Bujold the other day, I don't think I liked it as much as the first two. It took me a bit to get into it, as it had no real connection to the first two. Apart from the Gods, I suppose. I started getting excited a bit more in the middle, but then the ending felt like it hadn't been built up to as well as it could have? Maybe? I re-read "The Curse of Chalion"(I should have re-read it and "Paladin of Souls" again before starting "Hallowed") and finished yesterday and was reminded why I love that book so much. I started re-reading "Paladin" last night, so I'll give "Hallowed" another chance when I'm finished.

Scrolling past your what I'm sure are spoilery comments about the book to say DUDE, ARE YOU ILL?

(admittedly this morning I unloaded and loaded dishwasher, did a load of towels and packed up all my washing (so heavy almost cannot lift bag) to give to my nan to wash (last time I was here she was disappointed I didn't bring my washing. no, really.) but still!)

I think I am the anti-ill. I've been so sick for weeks, this is the first time in ages I've felt well enough to clean up after myself. And while I do usually let cleaning fall by the wayside, I do have a threshold which had been reached about a week ago, when I couldn't do anything about it.

Also, while cleaning today I watched "A Day in the life" and I'd forgotten how funny that ep is. I also watched "Destiny", "The Quest" and "A Necessary Evil". Yay season 2!

My comments on the book really aren't that spoilery.

You can go on the borrowing list, if you don't want to spend the cash on the hardcover, you would be getting it after alasen and hannah read it.
