Stupid lj just ate the post I just spent 1/2 an hour writing inbetween work! Grrrrrrr!!!
Now I'm just not in the mood to try and remember what I wrote. For those who care it was mostly about the stupid optus people not connecting our phone yesterday and not being able to come out till next Wedensday, getting my fridge fixed that's been broken since January and a lovely rant about last nights Buffy("Doublemeat Palace") that at the moment I am disinclined to recreate. Grrrr! again! If the phone was on we'd have cable at home and I wouldn't have to use the web interface thingy. Stupid world. With its unfair hatred of me.

pah! Sorry about the hissy fit before, it was just so frustrating! Anyway, went and read some classic Speranza("Beyond Embarrassment" one of my fave's) and now am feeling a lot better. Not gonna bother with re-writing what I had to say about Buffy - Will sum it up by saying that I didn't like the episode much and I hate the whole magical addiction plot thing they've got happening. And now I pretty much hate Willow when she used to be my favourite character. Oh well.

Bought 2 new cd's on the weekend. A very spiffy boxed 2cd soundtrack for Superman the movie with John Williams 'triumphant' score. It said so on the box so it must be true. And it is, pretty much. Played it very loud on the stereo while matching up the music with what I remember of the movie in my mind. One scary part is an alternate late 70's pop muzak version of "Can you read my mind" that I am SO glad they did not use in the movie. It is so terrible it can only be heard to be believed.

Also bought the soundtrack to "Transformers:The movie". What can I say? I was a child of the 80's. It's got the whole powerhouse-rock-theme thing happening with "The Touch" and "Dare to be Stupid" by Weird Al Yankovic is amusing.
