meelieSaw Phone Booth last night. Man it sucked, but Colin Farrell was good in it and hot. Hot in a dirty, scruffy way.
Could Forrest Whittaker's dialogue have sucked anymore? He just kept whining and moaning about his wife and his problems. I liked the sidekick black cop guy that patted Forrest on the shoulder at one point. Kiefer was okay as a creepy sniper voice-guy and in his small appearance at the end but still! Crap movie! Go if only to mock and wonder at Colin Farrell's ability to take truly terrible dialogue and spin it into something less crap.
And the pimp who gets shot after harassing Colin to get out of the phone booth? I amused myself by replacing him in my mind with Pimp Joey from *n the ass; "My bitches are cranky if they can't use the phone!" hee.
Saw an ad for "Basic" the new John Travolta thing. Looks lame. But Samuel L. Jacksons' character is called Nathan West! I heard that and I immediately wondered if Hawkes and Col. McQueen are in the movie as well.
