meelieThere is something horrible about being a pre-teen that makes you actually want to dance horribly choreographed dances in small halls to terrible pop songs with girls who dance so much better than you will. Eventually you will come to your senses and realise that the cult of sparkle-motion or fizzy culture or jazz fitness or whatever it was called is not for you! but what you are left with is feeling scared when Rage plays kylies 'locomotion'* and Whitneys' 'I wanna dance with somebody' and you realise you still know these songs way better than you should.
at least I don't remember the dances! and that they haven't played that song inseparable or whatever sung by 2 sisters? that a friend and I devised a dance to that, god help us, we danced at assembly.
oh! Roxette! You are best known for this pretty woman soundtrack song that is playing but in my book your song from the super mario brothers movie(samantha mathis represent!) is your best!
* hilariously, there were 2 lingering shots of the cans of impulse body spray that kylie must have been pimping at the time.
