I may possibly have been to 2 BSB concerts in 2 different cities the last few days. shut up. It was cute and adorable and despite myself I was caught up in the whole of it. I will write more later perhaps, or I might just say that howie is still my least favourite(sorry howie, but it's true), my love for brian has increased threefold, AJ is a sex god, kevin is a riddle wrapped in an mystery inside a catfish, and god, i regret not leaping over the row in front of me to tousle nick's hair when he leaned back over the barrier.
I also got an awesome phone call today from
eponymous at the sound check in Adelaide, which was totally excellent.
- You are all fucked and it is no-ones fault but your own. apart from that, poor rodney! your hubris seems to have brought the wraith to earth!. that's not good. apart from that, john and rodneys' plan and all it's steps - I was expecting 'underpants' and 'profit' to appear in there somewhere. and at the end? when they both put their hands on their hips? priceless. and then when rodney slapped john on the shoulder, hee. and when ronon went at the wraith for touching rodney? rarrrrr. In conclusion, you are all stupid people, but very pretty(hi weir, your are stupid but you have pretty hair). and teyla's like, DUDES, I *told* you this was a bad idea. except she's teyla, so she'll, like, incline her head or something. But in a really I TOTALLY TOLD YOU SO way.
otherwise known as the most boring ep of sg1 *ever*. regular politics are boring at the best of times. jaffa politics are insanely boring. even if brainwashing is involved. and mitchell had a friend who died. yawn. oh, and there was ba'al and he died, again, but yawn, there are many copies etc etc. speaking of many copies, I've still got the new bsg to watch.
today I joined the ranks of the divx dvd player enabled multitude and got a shiny pioneer dvd player. it is shiny. it is hooked up, and it works, hooray.
also, I bought 3 more books in the amazing badduck-hunter dark-hunter series by sherilyn kenyon. I cannot begin to tell you how bad(yet addictive!) these books are. I bought 2 before I went to brisbane to read on the plane, and finished the first one on the way back and the other one last night and just wanted more of their crappy goodness. there is butchering of the greek pantheon, psychic powers, vampires, werewolves and immortal hunters who are all stupidly good looking, yet in need of finding the right woman to free them from their dark life of killing stuff, even if they don't know that they need to be freed. they are so bad, yet awesome in their badness.
now to decide if the next one I read is about the duck-hunter that was so crazy that they sent him into exile in alaska but now he's going to get hooked up with a justice goddess called astrid, or the one about a were-panther guy called vane(who has a brother called fang) who hooks up with a chick called bride who runs a jewelry store. or something.
decisions, decisions...
