Hmm, I admit I saw someone's post describing this sg1 ep as 'boring' and I kinda have agree a little. A big whole heap of nothing happens. Priors bad. Aurae(sp?) want you to worship them. Daniel did bring up the interesting question of why they want people to worship them, but no follow through this week. And according to the preview, Amanda Tapping is back next week(as is her hair).
in point form, notable moments:
* Daniel's open mouth at the sight of 'the Goddess Vala'
* The card game mitchell and teal'c were playing. What was that? A weird version of snap? Or just 'I have no lines' boredom?
* It's the talky talky Daniel show! Starring me, I'm Daniel!
* Mitchell looked verrrrry pretty on the monitor when he called back to the sgc. Mmmm. Need to screencap.
* The reveal to sick Mitchell? Was lame.
* Redemption of Vala, actions have consequences, tear goes down face, meelie yawns
* Priors? Still fucking creepy

That? Was a really good ep. Also, Shep flirts with everyone. Flirting with rodney, flirting with dex, did you see how he was all bouncing on his toes when they met Marin? shep=big hor. I just really liked this ep, from dex eating the abandoned food, and mckay asking exactly how good is it. "You see that?" "Yeah I saw that", I liked that they have worked out a lie to tell people about what happened to Atlantis, I think they could have squeezed out a tear or two though at their lost people, but was less impressed when they started blabbing about atlantis in front of Squirelly McExplosives. I loved when they found out about the penal colony the look on Rodneys face of vague distaste as he immediately realises what these people are doing. They should really look into putting seat belts in jumpers the amount of times they crash those things. or at least little straps to hold onto. And when they were captured by the prisoners dex does this little coat twirl grabs his gun thing thats just great. Twirl dex, twirl! and the way Shep ordered dex? Mmmm. I'm not a fan of the whole dex/shep omg thing(i could never abandon shep/mckay!), but I have eyes! and ears! and my god the way he just sort of relaxed and said, well, if it's an order okay then. Whose thoughts didn't run to other, more intimate occasions where shep could order him to do something? okay, talking about something else now.

How did they know mckay was the fix-it guy? Clearly we missed something, so it's a bit annoying. I did love the talky hand gesture head prisoner guy gave rodney, hee. And shep admits he is naturally lazy! Aw. and heading into the home stretch, wraith drool ew, steely eyed weir meh, marin you suck, hee sticks are hard to break, Squirelly McExplosives gets to come home with them. Hmmm. I wonder if he has any of that mysterious 'ore' in his pockets?

dude, the return of the Starbuck show! Or rather, the starbuck and anders omg they lurve each other show. Or something. I'm not sure how much I liked this ep, what with the whole baby farm business and the fact that starbuck has a ROBOT BABY INSIDE HER! well, maybe she has a robot baby inside her. It's all a bit V. ETA: okay, I just read some other people comments on this ep, and apparently cylon simon took some ovary samples or something. so she doesn't have one inside her. but still! ovary samples!

Yay the drums of 'flashes of this is whats happening in the ep' coming back! I missed you so! and lee, god, you are such a pussy, you can't commit one way or the other! pick a side and stick with it! commit to something, dammit!

* starbuck seems to be a student of the joan of arcadia school of ugly crying
* When she was getting her brow mopped and we couldn;t see who it was at first I was hoping so hard it would be Leoben, but alas.
* Adama is freaking me out with his whole weird chat with the chief, and then the scene with Boomers' body. Creepy. and the crying? wtf? Also, did something happen to the shape of his head? Cause he looked different
* Sure, I know what confirmed it for starbuck was that he called her Starbuck and she never told him her callsign but I would have been more curious about the fact that she came in with a gunshot and they x-rayed her hands. and got her in the stirrups. cause they totally do that when you get shot.
* Cylon reproductive love theory? Buh? Did I sleep through a helo and boomer chat where she explained this?
* kara has a destiny. alrighty then. and leoben got a mention, yay!

Dude, no kidding. He'd had so little to do in the episode that I didn't even notice that he wasn't in the previous scene until they showed him all laid up and then I was just...whatever. They've really got to start giving him more to do. He wanted to 'lead SG-1' but all he's really doing is playing roadie to the Daniel & Vala Show. Teal'c is the same. It's kind of sad.

I'm not a fan of the whole dex/shep omg thing(i could never abandon shep/mckay!),

I totally saw the whole sick mitchell thing coming, he was all avoidy when the dr was asking them about being sick and he was doing a pasty looking thing. I agree totally, Mitchell needs to do something, apart from trailing behind daniel and vala like a little puppy dog. Poor teal'c - all I really remember him saying this week was 'indeed'.

I know! Shep gave the order and Dex was all obeying and....suddenly things went all sideways! My world was askew!
