Last night I dreamed I was reading an early Amanda Quick romance that I had never read before and that it had a sequel and in my dream I rummaged through my bookcase looking for the sequel, but could not find it. In the morning I awoke with a craving for some old school Misunderstood!Brooding!Lord and Smart!Bluestocking!Spirited!Unusual name type romance with a hint of mystery. Soo I re-read today "Dangerous". In the darkest hour of the night a lovely lady must keep her wits to win true love Oh, how you suck cover blurb! But how much do I still enjoy the early Amanda Quick romances. Quite a lot. Not so much her more recent stuff which I don't enjoy nearly as much. Her early stuff, yes there's a formula, but they stories and characters stand out more than her more recent stuff. Pah.

Anyway, tonight I saw this link to an account of the RWA(romance writers association) kerfuffle which lead me to this pretty nifty looking Romance review site Smart Bitches Who Love Trashy Novels which looks interesting.
