You guys, I am pretty proud of myself, I finally donated to the OTW.
The whole delicious fail recently really brings home that if there is a resource that you enjoy, you should support it. Even better, you should OWN IT.
I paid $10 happily to pinboard recently to get what I previously got for free - but because it was free from delicious, I had no say n the fucked up badger-stack-dom that ensued. Having now paid for a service, I have a voice. I emailed the pinboard guy with an issue with my service, and he answered me. Totally worth the $10.
Also $10? A donation to OTW that confers membership for a year.
I visit the AO3 everyday. I don't want it to go away. It is something I am happy to support. I am not rich, but I am able to afford this. Because I am lazy, I have set it up with the option to donate $10 every 12 months.
I don't donate my time(see above re: lazy) but I can donate my dollars. AO3 is awesome, the work that OTW does is awesome, all the people who help out with time and money are awesome. I want it to stay awesome and become more awesome and it can only do that with our support.
