it's a good thing they invented email
Apr. 24th, 2006 04:10 pmas my voice is gone(gone!). okay, yes I can talk really hoarsely, practically a whisper, but that's about it.
Today I went to work, then went to the doctor(laryngitis, she says. take disprin and gargle it and it should be gone in a week, she says. the back of your throat looks horrible, she says). At no point was I offered antibiotics, but if I don't have my voice back by wed, I'm damn well asking for them. And then I went back to work, finished my most important Monday stuff, and came home.
And so I get to spend the rest of today and tomorrow(public holiday!) not-talking. And you all know how much I love talking. So that's gonna suck. At least I have lots of books to read.
