mmmm.. the warm glow of the internet

I have my baby back! I was able to pick it up yesterday afternoon, and take it home, and worry about how long it will take my Not-Vulcan(alasen suggests 'kirk', but I think not) logic hating baby to kill this, my fourth logic board.

But had ex-housemates among others round for boardgames and dinner last night so my reunion with the internet was delayed. Alasen kept me updated on the livejournal situation of the past week though:
Alasen: Nothing happened on lj. Well, Joey got married.

Alasen: Ow!

But I am nearly all caught up now, which is of the goodness and I am posting from the abode of ms alasen. We have just had a stirring round of scrabble while she transferred all her files to my iPod to back up while she wiped her harddrive. While we played we listened to the Due South soundtrack as the show and the game are now forever linked in my mind. I kept Ray's advice in mind and managed to get both 'amaze' and 'queen' on triple word scores. :)
