you stupid, stupid cow

Dear List Moderator of a list which shall remain nameless,

Please stop changing my message delivery settings, there is a reason I am on no-mail, and that reason is I am too lazy to leave the list. You should be glad that I am still a member of the list and bolstering the numbers and shouldn't expect me to actually read anything. Or maybe you aren't responsible for this. Maybe Yahoo in it's infinite wisdom is mysteriously changing the settings for it's own nefarious purposes. Or maybe I just like the work nerfarious. Neeeeeefaaaarious. Nefaaaaaarrrrrious. hmmm. Anyway. I kinda lost control of my rant there, but yes. Messing with my delivery settings=evil. Stop it.

bed, bed, bed!

Just heard from the place where I ordered my new bed and mattress, o so long ago, and my bed is coming! Tomorrow even! Yay new bed!

Now when I get home tonight I'll have to make a final decision as to where it'll go and shift all my furniture around.

In other, non-bed related news I had a lovely time at erilyn's gathering on Saturday, at which many things were watched, squee'd at(squeeed?), and mocked with the sound down.

Still not bed related, yesterday I cleaned the kitchen. Not my usual half-arsed wipe-the-counter-and-do-the-washing-up type of cleaning either. Got the bleach out of the cupboard and took all the things off the counter, wiped them down, gave the bench a proper scrubbing and then washed the icky, icky lino floor as well. Go industrious me! This sudden cleaning frenzy (which is very out of character for myself) may have been inspired by the amount of bugs that were on the bench top when I came home late on Sat night and turned on the light.
I also did all my laundry, including my spare sheets that I always forget to wash, vacuumed my floor and then I made muffins. mmmm. Muffins.

This however, is bed related: Have I mentioned my new bed is coming tomorrow? :)
