WHEEL OF FISH!!!!

Some friends and I had our Christmas get together tonight - I am stuffed full of shortbread(made by me! which was a big hit!) and other more dinnery type foods, and we exchanged gifts! I received a nifty Astro Boy figure, that you put together yourself and the eyes light up, the John Safron Vs God series on dvd, a Batman T-shirt and my favourite present - a new fish! I had been in mourning for my poor, dear departed goldfish Barclay for over a year now, and it was decided that I needed to move on, pet wise, so now I have a new fish, a Betta(or Siamese fighting fish). He is currently nameless. I was throwing names around at dinner, and was leaning towards Jack, but now he's home and in his new tank, he's looking more like a Jeff. Have a look:





Maybe I'll give him a day or two to settle in before I name him - I named Barclay right away because he was acting all shy when I fist got him and then he ate all the other fish I got with him. Poor Sparky and Skeletor, I hardly knew thee.

I like the idea of naming fish after Masters of the Universe.

Luckily I never named a fish Man-at-arms or Teela, but I think Orko would be a kick-ass name for a fish...

It took forever for him to turn towards me so I could take a decent shot! It was like he knew I was trying to take his photo!
