posting at the post(by an hour anyway) to wish
erilyn a very happy birthday!
I have been mainlining season 2 Law and Order and it is awesome. I gushed to childhood friend that I had been watching L&O eps that hadn't been on a million times before and told her that the eps I were watching were pre-Jerry Orbach, that's how old the eps were. She was appropriately impressed *g* The eps stand up pretty well to the test of time - the hair and fashion is not totally awful, and the police detective uniform of suit, tie and take no shit attitude is, of course, timeless. I also like the fact that with the lack of Orbach there seems to be a bit less of the making of black humoured puns over the mutilated corpse at the end of the teaser. I also like that my tv law education is coming along swimmingly - during an ep where they tried to enter introduce something found as a result of a forced confession I told the tv, ah, but that's fruit of the poisoned tree! and heard my exact words repeated by opposing counsel moments later.
