Vala Vala Vala Vala Vala Vala yay!

I heart Vala so much! I love the comedy and life she adds to every scene she's in. I also love Daniel/Vala even though Daniel has been too smart so far to fall for it. Well, fall for it completely.

I'm not sure if I like the political shenanigans, but I'm interested to see what will come out of it.

Sure, nothing much happened, but it was cute and it was funny and there were leather pants so I liked it anyway.

Poor Rodney! Or rather, poor me, as I hate embarrassing things happening to characters on screen. Supposedly hilarious misunderstandings leave me covering my ears, closing my eyes and chanting la la la! in movie theatres. Or in the case of Duet, pausing the ep when something embarrassing happens. Yay David Hewlett who is awesome. I was spoiled for the kiss but not the circumstances, but I still knew it was headed that way so it did take a lot of the surprise out of it. I was surprised that um, Cadman? made it out whole and back in her own body. Yay Rodney saving the day. I do wonder if he and Cadman will become friends. Not in the show, though, because I doubt we'll see her again.

New guy, wow, he's a better shot than the marines and tougher fighter than Teyla, yawn. I thought the eating with his hands thing was bit overdone. And Shep so has a crush on him.

The blood thing? lame. The rebel pyramid team? Neat. But just when I was getting used to the Helo and Starbuck show now this Anders guy comes along. meh.

And Cally! How very Jack Ruby of you! and a shame, because I don't think if it was a good move for you. And Chief, whatever it is you've got, you should bottle it 'cause you could clearly be making some money off it.

8 cylons in the fleet: I wonder if Sharon was counting herself? My votes: Billy, Ellen, Lee(shut up), maybe some we haven't seen?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's not completely enamoured of Warrior Sue dude. And I just said to [livejournal.com profile] i_naiad in chat that:
Sheppard was like a kid with a new toy over Warrior Sue dude
or a puppy
"Can I keep him? Can I keep him? I promise to walk and feed him mom, please let me keep him"

Shep was practically bouncing up and down in front of Weir in his eagerness. I'm amazed after he turned away he didn't yell to Ronan off-screen "She said yes!"

Maybe he'll grow on me, but the dude needs to learn to knock before he goes into someones quarters.

Dude, so with you on the knocking. And as many people have pointed out, his world was quite advanced, they would have had cutlery.

Sheppard is this close to leaving lovenotes to on Ronan's doorstep.

Aww, I like the really hot new guy... but that may not have much to do with the character per se.

I did a lot of cringing. And have serious issues with the way Cadman behaved while in Rodney.

Sure he's hot, but he mumbles! I'm still waiting on my final verdict on him.

Oh, man, did I cringe. I'm not built for the on-screen humiliation of others.

I don't notice the mumbling. Everyone says he mumbles, but I just don't hear it. Possibly it has something to do with the men of my acquaintance...

HI STARBUCK HIIIIIIIII. I MISSED YOU. She is such a jock omg <3! I wonder if the bum knee was the same one she hurt on the show, or if they're both buggered up now?

I thought the shooting - and, yes, the blood - was lame. But I like it when Callie punches people! That was awesome.

Yay the Starbuck show! I loved how just after the standoff she's badmouthing the team! I assumed it was the same knee, maybe she's always had problems with it?

It was excellent when Callie hit that guy that was bad-mouthing the Chief. I like it when Callie blackmails people too ;) Do you think Boomer was lying about the number of cylons? Like, that she just made up the number so Baltar wouldn't kill Tyrol?

ME TOO! And I loved the look on her face just after she and athlete guy have been tussling and he says "nice shot" - her little huh! expression cracked me up.

Maybe so, that makes sense.

Like, that she just made up the number so Baltar wouldn't kill Tyrol?

I don't know - I never know, with this show - but I find that very plausible. The idea that she can tap into some kind of secret cylon knowledge base in her subconscious through sheer desperation seems kind of...lame.

I'm happy that Adama is back! Also, he and Tigh are so very, very married. I almost like Tigh, when they're together.

It does rather, but now she's dead, so maybe we wont find out? Why would Baltar want to know how many cylons are in the fleet anyway? He's not on the humans side except to his own benefit - maybe he's trying to make sure he doesn't declare another cylon human? Or a human cylon? That wacky Baltar.

I think Adama is certainly a lot better for Tigh than Ellen, that's for sure. Not that Tigh can't screw things up all by himself that is. Tigh makes the messes, Adama cleans up after him. Tigh has some good lines sometimes and earns my grudging respect, but his complete fuck-up ness makes me hate him, especially when he bitches about other peoples fuck-ups.

When Tigh threw his flask away in the beginning of the ep, I'm like, yeah, like you're *not* going to go over there and pick that up.

Yes, me too. I actually had to skip some of his scenes in this week's ep - especially the ones with Ellen - because he was just doing everything so wrong, aaargh. But, you know, mostly I had to skip those scenes because I thought they were heading for some huge horrible downward spiral, and instead there was the lovely scene with Adama, and they're not going to do at all what I was afraid they were. Which I should be used to, with this show. *g*
