sorry if you want actual content, but i need somewhere to put this hard boiled egg combo recipe, how can so many people have different ideas about hard boiling eggs? I tried the whole leave in the fridge in the shell overnight and it SUCKED, trying the below, LETS SEE HOW IT GOES


MAKE ICECUBES! i never have ice cubes??
2 room temp (or maybe straight from fridge!) (possibly better if older!) eggs!
put in saucepan, add tap water till cover by about 1.5cm/1inch-ish
bring to boil! (with lid on)
once boiling, reduce heat to med/low and boil for 6min (timing still to be tested!)
(put on timer!)
take off heat
tap with a spoon or roll them on the countertop to crack the shells before you shock the eggs in cold water. (This will loosen the membrane and make them easier to peel)
transfer to bowl with ice cubes and water
Peel the eggs as soon as they're cool. Start at the broad end, and hold the egg under running water to loosen any bits of stubborn shell clinging to the sides.
