'oh where, oh where can my baby be?'

took my iBook to the Apple Centre this morning. sniff. The screen did the the flicker-freeze-flicker-BLACK-flicker-BLACK-flicker thing last night. Tried 5 times more, forcing shut down and re-starting, so my baby went off to the shop. It shouldn't be the logic board! It was replaced(almost exactly) a year ago! Who was I talking to about logic boards at house of fen? *cough*coincidence?*cough* I figure it's that or maybe the screen cables in the hinge. Which might have something to do with the really quite nasty iBook bruises I have on my toe(thankfully not the opposable one - hof shoutout!) and foot. Which I did not mention when I dropped it off.

Thankfully my desktop background is not too humiliating - it's the same one I had when I did that desktop meme, but anything more than a swift look at my stuff will reveal my shame. The folder on the desktop called 'pop squee' for one thing. eh. serves 'em right if they're gonna snoop.

Now for the next 3 to 5 days brace yourself for mucho whining on my part about my lack of internet at home.

Guess I'll catch up on my dvd watching.

Note to self: apparently there's a kmart 15% off sale in the week starting 13th June.
