the world was broken but now it's better

So went to do my democratic duty and took myself up to the local high school to vote, turned out I needn't* have bothered as my ward was declared and my vote is unnecessary. So I called in my mum. Turns out she's been watching Witchblade. She wanted to know the backstory as she doesn't know the comics. I was just surprised that she knew it was based on comics. She also wanted me to explain how come if she turned back time that her Irish boy toy(my phrasing not hers) didn't come back. My answer? Season 2 sucks. She seems rather fond of it though. I don't think I ever finished watching s2 actually. Will have to do that at some point.

And now I'm waiting for my laundry on the line to dry and enjoying my internet connection which was down for ever and ever(translation: last night until just now) but it's back now! ::hugs the internet::


And in other annoying news, buses replacing trains on my line this weekend. Stupid buses.
