bitterness, decorating and catfish
Feb. 20th, 2004 11:25 am::sniff:: I have no leaked JC songs. It makes me sad. This is because I have no ADSL at home because telstra only acknowledged they received my request TODAY despite the fact I submitted it on MONDAY. Not that I'm bitter, no, no.
I also hung my spiffy bsb calender up on a hook over the counter in my kitchen but then AJ fell off the wall twice(the first time I got out of bed and put him back up, peering shortsightedly to see if I could figure out why he fell, the second time he was on his own till morning), so this morning I put him on a hook in my bedroom. Despite having Nazi-like rules against putting up poster with blu-tack, there are hooks and nails all over casa de meelie. I hung the painting that has no name(otherwise known as the one I painted while at a work team building thingy) in the entranceway and it looks quite nice. I am waiting for the inevitable fall though as I hung it with string. Quite heavy duty string and lots of it, but still string. I looked at wire at k-mart last night but the picture hanging wire had dire warnings on the back of it saying to wash your hands after handling it as the state of California had determined that it caused cancer, I shit you not. So, string.
I have an art print that I've been meaning to get framed for what? 5 years or something so I'm gonna try and get that done this weekend, along with laundry and sleeping in.
things to do after work:
* drop off keys at old real estate
* pick up free movie double pass I won from Drum Media
* go see my mother and be angry. remember to take her the stuff Aunty M gave me to give to her.
* watch the rest of the Batman Beyond video I got for $3 on Wed(the Australian release calls it Batman of the future, because we are clearly to stupid to comprehend Batman Beyond, so in my head it always acronyms to 'botf' - Would you like to watch some botf? Don't mind if I do!)
