for no good reason. not as cranky as last night, when apparently my eyes were so red that Childhood Friend asked if I'd been crying. Today at work was crazy, which was annoying. We sent out a reminder to all our dealers that hadn't responded and so now they start to respond after having 3 weeks already

...

my tv just said something something Kelly Clarkson, yadda, Nick Carter, blah blah on 'My Generation' this Friday. Channel 7. Of which my reception is crap, so I could see nothing. Maybe it didn't say Nick Carter. Maybe even my tv has turned against me.

I had other things to rant about but now my thoughts are gone. Still kinda annoyed in general though.

Very spiffy Elijah pics here.

An incredibly detailed overview of ST:TNG in [livejournal.com profile] crack_van here. It made me want to dig out all my old tapes and watch some episodes. Ah, next gen! I have you to blame for my very first piece of fanfic I wrote when I was 12. And it was Mary Sue. About a girl! From the 20th Century! Who somehow ends up on the Enterprise! sigh. The Mary Sue X-Men fic written a year later was just as bad.

and it's GSF month in pop fandom. And that is good. Go read "Sex Ed" by Lucy. Everyone gets lucky!

(Why wont it stop thundering so I can plug my laptop and internet cable back in? Whyyyy?)

What else have I been reading? Some HP "Irresistible Poison" by Rhysenn. Harry/Draco, which wasn't horrible but was no "Underwater Light" that's for sure. Also read "the tale of the shining prince somethingorother" that people were reccing left right and center. I liked it almost against my will. Don't read the sequels though. That is, if you are a wuss.

quercus(Lemon Drop) has posted some new SG1 fic in what appears to be her swan song from writing. (Jack/Daniel mostly I think)

And [livejournal.com profile] alasen knowing of my affection for the SG1 episode 'Tin Man' based stories recced to me "Or Else No Flesh Should Live". Robot duplicates. Yay! (J/D)

Witchblade. "Transference" by Viridian5. Gabriel/Ian. Early season 1. Short but... Mmm. Pretty.

And it seems to have stopped thundering so I'll shut up.
