"I thought we weren't using the 'Z' word?"

I have been very bad about posting this week, I think somewhere deep inside, I feel that if I think enough times about things I mean to post about they get conveyed via some mystical transference that doesn't require me, y'know, posting.
Work is of the uber-busy, so have had less time to be unproductive, turns out will soon be even more busy and may have to work on a Special Project(it doesn't really deserve capitalisation but It Makes Me Feel Better) over a weekend, so, no free time, but yay! overtime pay?
Had a busy weekend which was full of Zombies, haircuts and Dom's confused little face! 'Shaun of the Dead' is excellent and all right thinking people, even if not fans of the Zombie genre should get themselves hence to see it. I saw it as part of a zombie movie marathon over the labour day weekend along with 'Dawn of the Dead'(bleak, bleak, bleak) and 'Chronicles of Riddick' which were not technically zombies but necro-something-or-others and was lame and like, 3 movies crammed into one. And made me think less of Karl Urbans hotness. I did not think such a thing was possible, but his hair.
That was on Sunday night so working backwards, I spent Sunday afternoon at the House of Fen watching LOST and Joan of Arcadia(Joan and Adam are in the past! Luke and Grace are the future of cuteness for this show!) and Veronica Mars which is nearly as good as everyone pimping it lately has been saying. They didn't mention the chop-shop job of editing in some of the scenes. But it is still quite good.
Saturday was a haircut in the morning(alas, no longer as nicely blow dried as the hairdresser made it, it's kinda fluffy, but I like it) and Important Halter Neck business that night i.e, the family engagement party of my friend who is getting married. There was much hugging and cheek kissing of my person by people who I didn't know and had to let them for the sake of politeness. It was horrible. But the food was okay, and I ate so much of the fudge at the end of the night I felt ill, so we'll call it square.
Anyway, I want it to be the weekend already, despite the fact I have a fitting for the hated Halter Neck and I have to get furniture from Windsor(long story) or at least it should be lunch, so I can continue by Stephen King reading renaissance which is up to 'The Stand'. Mmmm...post-Apocalyptic!
Briefly in other areas of interest(to me):
* Stargate last night("Resurrection" I believe) was lame.
* Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is the best! thing! ever
* A week and a half until I can watch Stargate Atlantis with a clear(and up to date continuity-wise) conscience.
* There was no X-files on last night after sg1. But there is tonight and it is 'Eve'. <3's 'Eve'
