(no subject)

I shall start off with the obligatory 'the new update layout is freaking me out' because it is. Mostly because I am on such an ancient version of IE that it messes up all the boxes so that text is running through half of them in a really strange fashion, but eh.

things to say, things to say...I really thought when I signed up on my adsl plan that 4GB + 4GB(off peak) was an abundance, nay an overabundance of bandwidth, but now in a month where my iBook was in for repairs for one week of the month I am straining near the edge, due to a recent obsession with the live action Sailor Moon, getting my George Dead Like Me eps and sundry things. Sundry. That's a fun word. Not as fun as 'Ubiquitous' but close. You have to imagine the different ways I am saying sundry though. That's another thing, I feel my lj should have a disclaimer such as 'much funnier in person', but that sounds like I'm talking myself up. Which I would never, ever do.

Everyone should also use their imaginations to see the new live action Sailor Moon icon that I haven't uploaded yet. Maybe if you squint...nope, still looks like the old manga one. As alasen has mentioned recently we have both become addicted to Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. Which at first was scary and an abomination but now is so adorable and I just need to find out what happens next! Because it's got elements of the manga and the anime but takes them in a different direction and mooshes things together and everyone is so cute. and the angst of the true, true love of Usagi and Mamoru. and yes.

Finally found a freaking copy of 'The Shining' after looking everywhere for it for approximately forever. Whee! Got it at Big W so it was cheap cheap cheap. I also got a copy of 'Salems Lot' as I haven't read it since I was 13.

edited to add: stargate - man, I hate the tokra. and now x-files is on! and it's Ice! my favourite s1 ep! but I must sleep...
