Tonight I scrambled an egg for the first time in my life!

I was making a flat noodle thing fake pad thai thing and the recipe was all 'scramble an egg'. SO I DID.

this is exciting as due to childhood raw egg allergy and my mum nearly killing me with her bad cooking flapjacks when I was little, after that my mum (and then later me) wasn't taking any chances and so no eggs for me!

Egg allergies are scary! I'm glad you grew out of yours. I'm hoping that my niece grows out of hers, but it is not looking likely.

Allergies are weird! I lived most of my life afraid of eating raw egg, even though I am sure i haven't been allergic for years it's only recently I've been eating things I *know* have egg in them.

I wish I could have outgrown my dog and cat allergies, but they are waaaay less bad than they used to be.

I hope your niece grows out of it - seriously, I am pretty sure I was still reacting, but not badly, when in my late teen, early 20's.

I don't eat eggs (unless they are an ingredient in something else) so when I had to make my nephew a boiled egg for dinner one night I had to google to find out how long to cook it. Actually I don't think I've made scrambled eggs either. I've been thinking about making them for Boo for lunch one day but now I have to wait for his blood test result to see if he is allergic to them.

It' so weird! It's something people assume everyone knows how to do! But I don't!

I still don't know if I feel brave enough to straight up eat scrambled eggs - the idea still scares me a little! when it was mixed in a dish it was like it wasn't there!

I hope Boo isn't allergic!
