after all that basically at the end of the day this trilogy just killed everyone we loved from the original trilogy

This is literally all it achieved. After three years and a bazillion dollars, it killed everyone I cared about, and some other shit went on in the background, none of it meaningful or consistent, and nothing changed and we're right back where we started.
