WTF WTF WTF SHOW ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME, OF COURSE YOU ARE FUCKING WITH ME BUT STILL THE FUCK! i was very upset when cas EXPLODED. AGAIN. but this time on screen ON BOBBY. who was then MURDERED by samcifer and yeah, i suppose they got better BUT STILL IT WAS TRAUMATIC and the whole chuck is god thing is LAME LAME SUPER LAME.
kudos to the peeps who did the beaten half to death dean makeup, it was awful to look at, which means mission accomplished!
and the bit at the end with maybe samcifer watching dean, creepy!
overall, while upset with some of the story, I was actually unable to tell what was going to happen and was genuinely surprised and on the edge for most of the show, so despite the lame CHUCK=GOD or whatever thing i was still okay with it.
i guess I did find the michael/lucifer showdown anti-climatic a little, but that was the point! they were trying to avoid the climax.
I also liked when the three brothers met in the field, adam as representing heaven, sam representing hell and dean representing humanity, a trinity of all three parts of the conflict in one place all joined in blood, all wanting something different. lucifer wants to win by getting michael to depart the field, michael, while not wanting to kill his brother, will do his duty and dean...dean not wanting his brother to be alone at the end.
it felt like a series finale rather than a season finale almost, the chuck in a puff of smoke thing i hated like burning.
