Logic boards are actually covered by a special thingy because they've had so many fail. And the logic board failing doesn't affect the hard drive. They just pop they crappy one out and pop a new shiny one in. I've gone through 4 logic boards. The problem this sime seems to be with the actual drive, which makes me worried that I'll lose all my stuff, as I couldn't get it to work long enough to make an up to date back-up :(
