walking against the wind and out of order recounting of events

It is so windy at the moment! I thought it was bad enough just looking out the window at all the trees going this way and that way but I just popped down and across the road to get some milk from the convenience store and I was pushing against the wind. I felt like a mime! So I'm laughing and making my way to the shop. On the way back the wind was more helpful and pushed me in the right direction. Also amusing to me. It was neat.

So our internet was down for a little while and so I watched "Daredevil", put on some laundry and stacked the dishwasher. And cleaned the bathroom sink. Was bored. It's back now, which is good. Token Male's isn't though so he's swearing in the other room. Ha Ha!

Met up with Sydney and visiting Sydney pop-slashers for pancakes yesterday. Mmm. Pancakes. Much loudness and programming the video jukebox with *nsync, backstreet, xtina, justin and pink. And one Monty Python song too I believe. I think we slightly annoyed those nearby to us with our very loud discussion and someone yelling about sex but :P to them. erilyn had brought along some backstreet temporary tattoos she had gotten and I helped her apply one to her arm. I argued for one on her forehead but it was nixed :(

Back to the house of fen for viewing of stuff and lounging around, with a slight detour for alasen and I to get her car. Watching of cute gay canadians('designer guys') and pop stuff. Watched some songvids and lots of general blather. Was fun.

Got my hair recoloured on Sat morning before pancakes - so now in addition to my back hair with red ends I have two pale blonde streaks. The original intention was to get my rapidly growing out brown roots dyed the matching red as the ends but I finally decided against it as no-one would buy me a hat if it went horribly wrong. I figure with the blonde bits I'll put in temp colours and change it around a bit. I was a bit worried when I first saw the result in the mirror but now it's growing on me. It took ages to get done though. They left me in the chair at the sink with the foils in for about an hour and a half. So I had a nap.

Saw "Down With Love" on Friday night. Very cute. Especially the David Hyde Pierce. I recommend.

+ I heard BT's song "Simply Love" on the radio yesterday and was unsure as to whether it was indeed, the JC one. Found at pancakes that yes, "Simply Love" is the alt name for "Somnambulist" which I just realised I had an mp3 of that I'd never listed to. Am listening to now. Is not too terrible.( is mean about the song )
